
Jenna is a NYC-based NASM-certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor, dancer, and creator of Ballet & Bells.
She began her fitness career teaching Zumba and Dance Cardio before expanding her expertise to include Barre, HIIT, Strength, Rowing, and and Kettlebell classes at some of NYC’s top-rated fitness studios. In 2017, she was introduced to the world of digital fitness when she was recruited as a Founding Trainer for ClasspassLive. Currently, she teaches for DailyBurn as their resident Dance Cardio instructor, and is a Senior Trainer for CityrowGo, CityrowNYC’s workout app providing on-demand content in Rowing, Strength, HIIT, and Stretch.
Her philosophy: Jenna’s approach to fitness and movement is based on the notion that “every expert was once a beginner,” and she understands that achieving a high level of physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle is a process that doesn’t happen overnight. With this philosophy, Jenna encourages clients to push towards their goals by making movement and fitness a positive experience.
Her “Why":” As Jenna’s had her fair share of injuries and setbacks, Jenna prioritizes safety, recovery, and above all, proper form. Her goal is to make health, wellness, and fitness part of her clients’ daily routine, so that movement becomes part of their lives at a fundamental level rather than a short term goal. She strives to help you grow and learn, because being “fit” is not just about looking good, it’s about being able to move functionally and effectively both now and in the future. Jenna’s classes and personal training sessions are aimed at giving you the tools and support to be healthy, fit, and excited about moving in a sustainable way! Functional fitness over fad fitness!
Where to find her: Currently, you can sweat with Jenna live in her Ballet & Bells Membership program, which consists of 4x Live classes a week focused on Kettlebell skills, Athletic Training, HIIT, and Barre. She also is a certified personal trainer who trains clients virtually 1:1 to achieve their movement and fitness goals.When she’s not teaching or dancing, there’s a good bet you’ll find her eating cookies from City Cakes NYC or dreaming about moving back to Spain.
